LawBreakers - Map Variants and Extras

Some extra stuff from the Bosskey Era that we never did get to releasing. As time at Bosskey ran down, the Art Team, under the Art
Direction of Tramell Isaac, started creating variants of our arenas. The intent was to drop these maps every few weeks. In all cases, the maps had twists on layout to make them play differently enough to keep things fresh for players. We never did get the chance to release these, as the initiative was more or less canned when the company shifted focus. We did manage to complete Night versions of Promenade and Reactor, as well as a horror themed variant of Redfalls, which ended up being a favorite amongst a lot of the Artists at the time.

Lots of credit for these goes to Jonathan Bishop for his incredible lighting skills, which allowed us to capture different moods quickly, and Nick Peterson for generating new skies and FX to support these maps. I was responsible for a great deal of material work on these shots, as well as planning and supporting the Gameplay changes. Of course, credit also goes to the Environment Art and LD teams at Bosskey; everyone there really put a lot of effort into these maps, and everyone was excited for what they could bring to elevate the game.

Outside of the levels, I also included a Keyshot render of the light fixtures we used in Gateway. I built this image as a proof of concept for the padded hardware, and included a Marvelous Designer pipeline I made for getting these fabric pads looking right. All in all, there were 32 pad variants that I was responsible for. If I can dig up other files that survived the collapse, I will post them later.
