Concept Design for a Laser Induced Plasma Channel weapon system (LIPC).

An emitter creates a laser, which rapidly heats surrounding gases to form plasma in a concentrated channel. A fraction of a second later, a powerful electric current is directed into this plasma channel, and a high voltage charge is delivered to the target at distance. Since the platform requires copious energy management, a series of diodes and conductive panels, as well as a governing operating system in the form of bootstrapped firmware are employed to ensure stability, consistency, and reliability.
